Abstract Brutalist Silkscreen “Jacob’s Ladder” on Handmade Rice Paper by Margot Kempe, Signed (1961). Signed and dated in the lower right corner in pencil. In used condition with wear consistent with age. Handling marks along the edges. Tape remnants along the top and bottom. Tears along the right side and upper right corner.

Size: 25”H x 19.75”W

Margot Kempe was a German sculptor that fled from Germany during the Nazi occupation. She settled in Equador for nine years before moving to NYC.
