Large Lega Bwami Muminia Mask - Congo/Zaire
Large three faced Idimu mask. This mask was used by the higher ranking men of the society during initiation ceremonies/rituals. The small coffee bean slit eyes, slender long nose, and small mouth is conducive to masks used by the Bwami society. In good condition. Loss of wood on the left side of frontal face. No chips could be the condition of the original piece and not necessarily damage.
