Margot Kempe (German, 20th C.) - Abstract Brutalist Woodcut on Rice Paper, Signed (1961). Brutalist wood cut of two monolithic structures. Initialed and dated “MK 61” in the lower right corner. In good condition with wear consistent with age and material. Crease to upper right corner, small tear long the right side of paper. Please refer to photos for details.

Size: 24 x 18 in

Margot Kempe was a German sculptor that fled from Germany during the Nazi occupation. She settled in Equador for nine years before moving to NYC.
